Itinerary

Our itinerary is designed so that travellers can enjoy days of activity and excitement, and days of relaxation and enjoy Japan’s vibrant scenery and atmosphere.
Day 1 : Nairobi Sightseeing

Today, we embark on a comprehensive tour of Nairobi. Ranked as the second most modern city in Africa, Nairobi follows Johannesburg in its urban development. Its skyline adorned with towering skyscrapers, broad thoroughfares, and colonial-era edifices alongside bustling commercial hubs impart a distinctly Western ambiance unparalleled elsewhere in Kenya. Ascending the lofty heights of the Kenya Conference Center’s tower, we gain panoramic vistas of the sprawling cityscape, offering an insightful perspective into its layout and character.

Venturing beyond the city limits, we journey to the outskirts where the Giraffe Park awaits. Here, we engage with these majestic creatures, feeding them from designated platforms, gently caressing their heads and necks, and capturing memorable snapshots with them. A stopover at a local shopping center treats us to a satisfying lunch.

In the afternoon, our exploration delves into the rich tapestry of Kenyan culture at the Kenyan Culture House. Wander through symbolic villages, immersing ourselves in the diverse lifestyles and intriguing customs of Kenyan tribes. As the day draws to a close, we’re treated to a mesmerizing spectacle of music and dance performances by various Kenyan tribes. These captivating displays, orchestrated by professional art troupes in the amphitheater hall, offer a vibrant celebration of Kenya’s cultural heritage.

Day 2 : let's Discover Naivasha!

In the early hours of the morning, we depart from Nairobi towards Naivasha, situated a hundred kilometers north of the city. Beginning today, our journey is facilitated by specialized safari land cruisers equipped with retractable roofs, offering unobstructed views of wildlife and allowing us to stand and capture photos. Naivasha Park is renowned for its stunning lake, a focal point of our adventure.

­Embarking on an exhilarating boat excursion, we approach pods of hippos, these formidable yet placid behemoths. Following a delightful lunch at our charming lodge, we set out for a stroll through Hell’s Gate National Park. This narrow valley, flanked by towering cliffs, provides an intimate encounter with African zebras and antelopes, with the option to explore on foot or by bicycle.

­As evening descends, we receive to our picturesque lodge nestled amidst the forested shores of the lake. Here, amidst the tranquil natural surroundings and enhanced amenities, we while away the hours until the late night, savoring the serenity of this enchanting environment.

Day 3 : Exploring new horizons

Today, our itinerary takes us to Nakuru National Park, situated 70 kilometers north of Naivasha. Nestled within a verdant valley, Nakuru National Park serves as a haven for diverse wildlife species. Renowned as one of Africa’s premier rhinoceros sanctuaries, Nakuru offers unparalleled opportunities to encounter this rare and endangered species. Additionally, Lake Nakuru is celebrated for its vast flocks of migratory flamingos, adding to the park’s allure.

­Following our exploration of Nakuru, we return to the idyllic comforts of our enchanting lodge in Naivasha as the evening approaches.

Day 4 : Wonderful wildlife

In the early hours of the morning, we embark on our safari adventure, boarding the specialized safari land cruisers bound for Masai Mara National Park, renowned as one of the world’s foremost wildlife reserves. Covering a distance of 220 kilometers, the journey spans 4 to 5 hours, offering ample opportunity to soak in the breathtaking landscapes in route.

­By midday, we reach our lodge, where we indulge in a delectable lunch before setting out on our safari expedition. Masai Mara’s expansive plains form an integral part of the migratory route for millions of African zebras and antelopes, a spectacle of nature’s grandeur. This vast ecosystem also serves as prime territory for African carnivores such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, providing a riveting display of wildlife interactions up close.

­Our visit to Masai Mara promises to bring to life the wildlife encounters previously witnessed only through the lens of television documentaries by renowned filmmakers like National Geographic, and the BBC. As evening descends, we retreat to our luxurious lodge nestled within the heart of Masai Mara Park, ensuring a harmonious blend of nature and modern comforts.

Day 5 : Crocodiles Experience

Early this morning, we are presented with a unique opportunity to partake in the Masai Mara hot air balloon experience. While the balloon ride over Masai Mara is optional, it offers an unparalleled perspective of the expansive landscape below.

­Today’s adventure leads us to the renowned river, where the banks teem with colossal African crocodiles, lying in wait to prey upon unsuspecting animals approaching to quench their thirst. This presents us with an exceptional chance to observe herds of elephants, baboons, giraffes, hyenas, vultures, buffaloes, Thomson’s gazelles, impalas, warthogs, as well as an array of bird species, both grazers and carnivores alike, inhabiting this vibrant and bustling ecosystem.

Day 6 : Semi-nomadic life style; The Maasai people!

In the early hours of the morning, we bid farewell to Masai Mara and set out on a journey to visit a Maasai village, before continuing onwards to Nairobi and eventually to Mombasa. The Maasai, a proud and warrior-like people, lead a traditional lifestyle centered around cattle herding, sustaining themselves with a diet rich in cow’s milk and blood.

­Accompanied by Maasai men, armed with their characteristic spears and daggers, we witness their daily rituals of herding their livestock through forests inhabited by lions and hyenas. It’s a known fact that the male lion retreats at the sight of the Maasai’s distinctive red robes! Upon arrival at the village, we immerse ourselves in their culture, observing their traditional dances, partaking in their rituals, and exploring their huts crafted from a blend of mud, dung, and ash, adorned with woven mats. These huts serve as homes to Maasai families and their livestock, including newborn calves.

­Engaging in dance and conversation with the Maasai, we gain insight into their way of life. Following our visit to the Maasai village, we commence our journey to Nairobi, covering a distance of 260 kilometers over a span of 5 hours. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we proceed directly to the airport, where we catch an evening flight to Mombasa, situated on the eastern coast of Kenya along the Indian Ocean.

­From the airport, we transfer to our luxurious beach resort nestled amidst tropical foliage, overlooking the azure ocean. Complete with a swimming pool, gym, restaurant, and bar, the resort offers an idyllic setting for unwinding and rejuvenating at the culmination of our journey.

Day 7 : Mombasa Sightseeing

Today, we embark on a guided tour of Mombasa, a city steeped in history and cultural diversity. For centuries, Mombasa has served as a prominent destination for Iranian, Arab, and Indian sailors, leaving an indelible mark on its rich tapestry.

­Renowned for its pristine sandy beaches, coral waters, and lush tropical foliage, Mombasa stands as one of Africa’s premier beach destinations. Our exploration begins in the historic quarters of the city, where we encounter the imposing Jesus Castle, a poignant relic of Portuguese maritime conquests.

Day 8 : Getting lost in the magical Indian Ocean view

Today is a day dedicated to leisure and relaxation. With the stunning backdrop of the  and the private swimming pool at our hotel, we have the perfect setting to unwind and rejuvenate. Indian Ocean beach

Day 9 : Goodbye Kenya

Today marks the conclusion of our itinerary. As we bid farewell to our hotel, we prepare to depart for Nairobi via a domestic flight.
